TITLE: Outpatient Coder 

LOCATION: 100% Remote but must have residency in CT, GA, MA, NM or RI

SALARY:  $25-30/hr+

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Seeking an acute care Outpatient Coder with at least 2 years of relevant experience

• Responsible for collecting, coding and recording accurate and complete patient care data from Outpatient facility records

• Working knowledge of and ability to resolve NCCI, MUE & Medical Necessity Edits

• Employer desires a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently

• Position will report to the HIM Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, COC or CCA required 

• Experience in Meditech and Cerner a plus 

• 3M experience desired

• Must live in Connecticut, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Mexico or Rhode Island
