Our Mission: Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital, a regional health system, is committed to a tradition of excellence through leadership in the provision of quality medical services and health education for the people of Central Nebraska. Our mission is achieved through a dedicated, caring staff, using advanced technology within a healthy and pleasant environment, in a cost effective manner.
Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital has 183 beds, which includes Med-Surg-Ortho, Oncology, Acute and Subacute, Critical Care and Progressive Care, Behavioral Services, and Maternal Child units, as well as Surgical Services.
Mary Lanning Memorial is located in the center of Hastings, NE with a population of 24,000. In addition to the College of Radiological Technology and Creighton School of Nursing on campus, Hastings is home to Hastings College, a four year liberal arts college, and Central Community College, a technical college. There are grade schools throughout the community and three high schools, as well as a new Middle School which will open it's doors in 2008.
Additional areas of interest in Hastings include a water park, sports and recreation programs through YMCA and Hastings Parks and Recreation, Hastings Museum, Hastings Symphony, and Community Theater to name a few.
