Company Profile

Company Overview

Betty Ford Center is a not-for-profit, separately licensed 100-bed residential chemical dependency recovery hospital which offers inpatient, outpatient, family, children and day treatment for alcohol and other drug addictions. Named in honor of the former First Lady, who is the founding Chairman, the world renowned center has helped more than 90,000 people, aged 18 to over 80, from nearly every state and more than 30 foreign countries since it opened in 1982. Since its inception, the Center has continued to expand its programs and services. In addition to the inpatient, outpatient, family and children’s programs, we have added the Ninety Day Treatment program; and a Young Adult Treatment program. In addition to the children’s program located on the main campus, children’s programs are in operation in both Texas and Colorado. BFC has a very active Alumni program with groups meeting on a regular basis all across the United States. Our Foundation is a vital part of the life of the Center and raises money to support the mission of the Betty Ford Center through gifts, pledges and planned giving programs. Betty Ford Center also provides services to the community by offering AA meetings and multiple workshops on addiction on campus and sponsors the Saturday morning Alcohol Awareness Hour that is open to the community.
