Coding & Documentation review solution: Specifically designed to act as a safety net and catch oversights in clinical coding and documentation as your team diligently works through the pressures of DNFB, resource constraints, weekend coverage, productivity metrics, and industry change. CloudMed automates the auditing process to identify coding and documentation opportunities. It also catches what Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) and like technologies can’t handle.
How CloudMed works: After coding is complete, the DRG is assigned, CloudMed runs your data (demographic, diagnosis, procedure, charge, etc.) through a set of rules & algorithms to identify potential DRG shifts. The solution can run pre-bill or post bill and is complimentary to any current processes (CDI program, computer assisted coding, etc.).
CloudMed does the heavy lifting: CloudMed’s reviewers validate coding and documentation opportunities and clearly document supporting evidence for the DRG shift. Each of the opportunities are accessible through an intuitive interface for your staff to review, make the changes, and bill.

CloudMed Solutions was established in early 2015 in preparation for the transition to ICD-10 given the increased complexity and volume of codes available in the classification system. More than 50 hospitals utilize our software and auditing solution.
