Company History

We’ve built up a supportive community of faculty, staff, and fellow learners. Founded in 1965 by Henry and Suzanne Herzing, we continue the family legacy with their daughter, Renée Herzing, as our president. Under her leadership, Herzing is the only accredited, private, woman-owned university in the U.S. and is WBE certified by the National Women Business Owners Corporation. We are also, once again, recognized as a member of the GI Jobs’ list of “Military Friendly Schools” for 2013.

Moving forward, we will remain focused on providing students with a caring learning environment that fosters long-term career success. Discover for yourself why students choose Herzing University every year.
