As we grow to meet the needs of our Vero Beach community we've added the Heart Center of Vero Beach in affiliation with Duke University Medical Center , as well as new lab facilities and our 28 bed all private Emeregency Room, 8 bed Convenience Care and 8 bed Clinical Evaluation Unit.
Company History
Located half way up Florida's Atlantic Coast, a little over an hour north of the Palm Beaches you'll find Indian River County, the home of lovely Vero Beach. Vero is the commercial and cultural center of the county. And here's where you will find Indian River Medical Center.
Celebrating 75 years of caring and our diamond jubilee, today the 335-bed not for profit hospital and its related facilities span over 80 acres. Its staff provide a wide range of quality medical care and healthcare services for residents of Florida's growing Treasure and Space Coasts.
In November 2006, Indian River Medical Center opened its impressive new Heart Center in affiliation with Duke University Medical Center. Duke maintains four similar affiliate programs, but the Indian River agreement is the health system's first heart center affiliation outside of Virginia and the Carolinas.
