Riverwood is a 24-bed Critical Access Hospital with three full service clinics located in beautiful north-central Minnesota, just two hours north of Minneapolis-St. Paul.
With three full-service clinics in Aitkin, Garrison and McGregor we serve a mostly rural community, drawing patients from a 60-mile radius, including communities of Brainerd, Grand Rapids and Cross lake.
Riverwood's electronic medical records program is one of the most sophisticated programs among rural Minnesota hospitals. This advanced electronic medical record system is integrated between our hospital, clinics and emergency room.
Riverwood is the first rural hospital in Minnesota to be certified as both a Level III Trauma Center and Comprehensive Advanced Life Support Hospital.
