Company Overview
South Jersey Healthcare is a charitable nonprofit health care organization in which hospitals and doctors work together to provide quality care. SJH has been serving the citizens of Southern New Jersey for 15 years, but traces its roots to 1898 when the original Bridgeton Hospital opened its doors.
Comprehensive hospital services are provided at both SJH Elmer Hospital and the SJH Regional Medical Center, a 262-bed, state-of-the art hospital located in Vineland. A satellite emergency department located at the SJH Bridgeton Health Center serves patients 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

South Jersey Healthcare was recently awarded Magnet recognition for excellence in nursing services by the American Nurses Credential Center’s (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program®.
By demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety, South Jersey Healthcare’s hospitals and related outpatient services have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™.
