With over 11,200 employees and 2,500 staff physicians, SSM Health Care - St. Louis is one of the largest, full-service health care networks in the St. Louis area. SSM Health Care-St. Louis includes seven hospitals, a SSM Managed Care Organization, and a Physicians' Organization with over 150 employed physicians. Other services include Cardinal Glennon Close to Home pediatric services and SSM Home Care. We provide our patients with an online Doctor Referral, Health Library and Wellness Program Registration hotline that can be reached at 314-SSM-DOCS (toll-free 866-SSM-DOCS).
Company History
Our parent organization, SSM Health Care System, also based in St. Louis, in 2002 became the first health care winner of the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. The system owns, operates and manages hospitals and nursing homes in four states: Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin and Oklahoma.
